How you can can help these animals
Amur leopards are threatened by shrinking prey tracts and the illegal wildlife trade, due to logging and poaching of the prey, such as roe deer and silka deer, the amur leopards food source is dropping. Poachers are also killing the leopards and selling them up to $1,000 per pelt.
But we can help them by finding a way to ban hunting with dogs, and use of traps and snares in leopard habitats, through zoning of hunting leases. We can also figure out a way to stop wildfires in the habitats that still have amur leopards in them.
